On October 12, 2003, Greenway Golf hosted Corica Park’s inaugural Pride Picnic in conjunction with citywide Alameda Pride Weekend festivities. This free, family-friendly event raised funds for Covenant House, a non-profit that provides shelter and services to LBGTQIA+ homeless teens. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈 Our hope is for events like these to create safe spaces for groups that traditionally have not felt welcome in outdoor activities.

Our first event was small and we raised $500 for Covenant House. We will be back in 2024, with a goal of increasing attendance to to celebrate Alameda Pride weekend, raise more funds for this very worthy cause and continue our efforts to expand access for the LGBTQ+ community.
